OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH... UGANDA!

VPN

Okay, Uganda, I have dragged my feet about this long enough. However, GOD says that we are about to have another ‘VPN season’ where we shall not be able to access the internet or social media. I do not know what will happen this time to set it off but it will happen.

Revenue

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit,” says the LORD Almighty. “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the LORD Almighty” (Malachi 3:10-12).

GOD also says that our economy is struggling because we have not entrusted our money to Him. We do not return the whole ten percent (tithe) and offering into His storehouse.

Therefore, Uganda must separate ten percent (10%) of its revenue, add on an offering and return it to GOD. As a result our economy will have the hand of GOD upon it. Of course, we must also follow all the other kingdom financial principles but I have only been instructed to share about tithe.

I pray that this message reaches the right decision maker concerning this matter.
GOD BLESS YOU.

Prayer

Dear GOD, we have heard your word and received it. However, even if we do not know what the source of the next VPN season will be, we ask you to help us and avert it – keep us from it dear LORD.

Father, we repent for not returning the whole tithe and offering into your storehouse. We ask you to give us the grace to do so. We now place this nation into your hands. We ask you to take control of all our revenue and all that concerns us. In Jesus’ name, we have prayed, amen.

Let Us Back Him Up!

“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life for evermore” (Psalm 133:1-3).

Isn’t it nice when we all work together to support another servant of GOD? Right there, in the unity, is a blessing forever more!

As I watched a certain gospel artist worshipping GOD in song, last night, I was not only impressed with him but also with his backup team! They all seemed to know that it was his ‘thing’…his ‘spot light’. I could tell that they were all very gifted and anointed because the song came out excellently but also because there was ‘something’ there that made its way through the air waves – It seemed as if I was right there in the room with them!

The gospel artist, himself, commanded such a presence on stage that you could not take away from him – it was his time to shine even if he was doing it while worshipping GOD. As he worshipped GOD, GOD glorified Himself through him – the glory of the LORD was upon him!

I interact with so many artists that I have come to acknowledge that some of them start out by ‘backing’ others. They sing so well that if you are simply listening to an audio you cannot tell that they are actually different voices. Some of the backup singers are already established but because the lead singer has requested for their help, they drop everything and run to his side.

Now, backing him does not mean that they do not sing that well or that they are not established names already. It does not mean that they will not be established, in future, if they back him. In fact, most of them turn out to be very good gospel artists themselves.

Often times, in ministry, we get an opportunity to help out a friend. However, it does not mean that we are less anointed or that they are more anointed than we are – that should not even cross our minds. It only means that there is only one ‘spot light’ for just one person at any one time. We must let them have it! We must be united as we support one another, regardless of whether it is releasing a song or preaching. If they release a beautiful song or a fiery message, it does not mean that we cannot also do so but that it is not yet our time. It also means that we should give them our best help while we wait for our chance!

Let us also remember that it is not about us or about the spotlight but about the GOD that we serve. Let us, then, do all that is within our power to back them up. Let us ensure that the word of GOD is preached to the ends of the earth and that we are behind it all the way.

‘Backing someone’ takes humility. You make a silent statement and say, ‘I choose to take off these ‘hats’ just so I can sit under your anointing. Let me be led for once. There is something that you have that I could learn from’. You and I know that GOD exalts the humble and humbles the proud. Let us intentionally humble ourselves so that the gospel may be preached to all creatures.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I now know that we can only do well if we are united. LORD, give me the grace to support my brethren in any way that I can. May I not take off from their shine but help them shine more as they glorify you through what you have called them to do. I thank you, LORD, because you have done it. In Jesus’ name, I have prayed, amen.
